We recognise the impact children’s sleep problems have on the whole family

This can include:

  • Parental fatigue and exhaustion

  • Increased stress and emotional strain

  • Difficult sibling relationships

  • Problems with school performance and/or attendance

  • Behavioural difficulties and mood swings

  • Disrupted family routines

  • Long-term impacts on your child’s health

Sleep is one of the three core pillars of health. When your child isn’t sleeping well, overall wellbeing can be impacted.

The good news? Sleep difficulties are highly treatable and our practitioners are trained to deliver gold-standard approaches to ensure your child gets the sleep they need.

We provide neuroaffirming care & welcome children of all neurotypes, and abilities.

We start by looking at the individual child. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach when it comes to sleep. When we work with your child we are considering factors such as:

  • Sensory challenges and preferences

  • Neurotype - we are experienced in supporting autistic, ADHD, and gifted children

  • Cognitive abilities

  • Puberty

  • Circadian rhythm functioning

  • Physical limitations & supports

  • Mental health

  • Cultural practices and preferences

We ensure every child has agency over their sleep therapy experiences.

Appointments

We usually see families for an initial appointment where we carry out a thorough assessment, set goals and develop the first part of your child’s sleep plan. This is followed by a review appointment 1-2 weeks later, during which we assess progress, adjust goals, and develop part 2 of your child’s sleep plan. Sometimes more than 1 review appointment is required. To ensure your child’s sleep progress is maintained, we will also see you for a follow-up appointment approximately 4 weeks after your review appointment.
